Chitosan acetate, a natural biopolymer that is cationic, is an effective flocculant for a variety of water treatment applications. Solutions are available both liquid & dry materials, depending on the application.

Chitosan acetate is used for:

• Reducing turbidity in process waste water.
• Reducing sediment from runoff from heavy rain surges.
• Settling turbid construction storm water.
• Improving settling, reducing turbidity in sand & gravel wash water
from mining operations.
• Improving settling in dredging & pumping operations.
